Anonymous asked: how did you turn your blog into what it is today? Like how did you gain such a large following?
It took a lot of time. Posting to other sites, commenting on blogs, and working with companies who share my blog as well. I just kept trying to improve and learn as much as I could and I think it paid off!
mylifeashannahblog asked: Hey Tonya, I was wondering if you can give me some advice on how you started your fashion career because what your doing as a stylist and visual communications person for retail stores, is exactly what I want to do but not sure where to start? Also I wanted your opinion on living in Portland because me and my boyfriend are really considering moving up there after I'm done with school and wanted to know how you like living there, etc. If you can message me back that be a huge help and thank you.
Hello! Right now I’m a student for fashion marketing so I still haven’t gotten that dream job yet…but I’m hoping school will lead me there!
I would advise you to start a blog if you haven’t already! It’s super fun and a great way to get your ideas out there. And Portland is such a great city! I love it so much, I would definitely recommend it. Everyone is super friendly :)
Anonymous asked: Hey! so first off all I absolutely love your style and was hoping or some advice. I'm thinking of getting the Voile and Lace Trapeze Slip from Free People and was wondering what your opinion is on that item? is it as pictured? flattering? thanks!
Thanks so much! I love the Trapeze Slip! I have the black one and it can be worn so many ways. I got a size small, which gave me a little more length so I can wear it more as a dress. Hope that helped!
Anonymous asked: Hi! I love both of your blogs and would like to know how much do you spend a month on clothes? Thank you!
I’m usually pretty good about my money (or I try to be) So I probably only spend about $200 a month on clothes or so. It’s hard being a college student!
